New Milford Farmland Preservation

Farming's Future - From Dairy to Diversification
Connecticut Farming in the 21st Century

Sponsored by: New Milford Farmland Preservation Committee

When most people think of farming they picture idyllic rolling hills with livestock grazing on the hillsides.  While those images used to dominate our local landscape, dairy farms are becoming more scarce.  Fortunately, the tide in farms disappearing altogether may be changing, as farms diversify and new, successful business models emerge.  Please join us for an interesting and informative evening to discuss some exciting trends in agriculture and what is happening across the state.
